Le sue sembianze umanoidi non lo hanno di certo agevolato nel mercato del collezionismo, infatti molti “jumbofili” preferiscono la figura del classico robot (Grendizer, Mazinger, Jeeg) rispetto ad un uomo che si trasforma nel “cavaliere dello spazio”.

Ma torniamo al nostro jumbo: il suo design non è molto fedele alla serie animata,le differenze più sostanziali si notano soprattutto nella colorazione.
Le enormi spalle nel jumbo Nakajima sono di colore blu mentre nel design originale sono rosse, il corpo è di color argento mentre l’originale è bianco, il bacino è blu nel cartoon, argento nel jumbo, stesso discorso per i piedi, completamente rossi per il jumbo, bianchi per la serie animata.
Il Tekkaman misura 59.5 cm di altezza contro 26 cm di larghezza.
Le sue articolazioni sono diverse rispetto ai classici jumbo, infatti il busto può ruotare sia verso destra che verso sinistra, le braccia oltre al classico movimento “alto-basso” riescono a muoversi a compasso grazie ad uno snodo situato nella spalla.
